Japanese fighter jet missing in the Sea of Japan

 A Japanese fighter jet is found missing on Monday evening across the Sea of Japan, it lost radar contact after taking off from Komatsu Airbase in Japan. The jet was conducting training with two crew members. The Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) officials said that they have found some floating objects in the area where the jet lost its radar contact.


According to a Ministry of Defence source, the F15 fighter Jet with two crew members lost its contact with the radar system and disappeared over the sea of Japan about 5km west-northwest of the base.

The Kanazawa Coast Guard Office in Ishikawa Prefecture also received a call at the same time.  
 
The Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) has ordered the rescue team for the search and they have found some floating objects where the jet lost contact with the radar.

According to JASDF, the F15 fighter jet belonged to a squadron that functions as enemy aircraft in tactical flight training.
