RRB NTPC Exam Aspirants protest gone violent

The RRB NTPC exam aspirants have gone for protest and have called for Bihar Bandh over irregularities in the results of railway recruitment exams.

Thousands of students took part in the protest against discrepancies in the RRB recruitment process. The anger of the students burst after the recruitment board decided to conduct two computer-based tests (CBT) for the RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC). The results of CBT-I Group-D were published on January 14, shortlisting candidates for CBT-II. The aspirants claim that this criterion for the recruitment was not mentioned in the RRB notification released in back 2019, they say that RRB had mentioned only one exam in the notification.

Aspirants said that it's an unfair practice by RRB to ask candidates to appear for another exam. They accused the board of "playing with the future of students".

The protesting students have blocked roads and highways during Bihar Bandh called by students organization. The protesting students have also received support from the opposition political parties as well as NDA allies.

Khan sir has been booked in connection with the violent protest, an FIR has been registered against him on the basis of the statements given by agitating students who were detained in Patna. Khan sir teaches students online for various competitive exams through his YouTube channel free of cost and he has been accused of motivating students to participate in the protest.

Khan Sir also releaased a video on Thursday night urging students not to participate in protest.
